Materials Needed:

1. pencil tub containers

3. Clear adhesive glue
4. Chain or keyring

Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace 

To avoid any mess or damage, set up a clean workspace by covering it with craft paper or newspaper. This will protect your surface and make cleanup easier. Gather all the materials in one place so everything is easily accessible throughout the project.

Step 2: Disassemble the Containers 

Carefully disassemble the lip gloss containers by removing the cap and the wand. You should be left with just the container itself. Discard the wand or set them aside for other craft projects.

Step 3: Polyurethane & Glitter

Apply the polyurethane to the inside of the pencil: Make sure to coat the entire inner surface evenly. The polyurethane will act as an adhesive for the glitter.

Sprinkle glitter inside the container:

While the polyurethane is still wet, sprinkle the glitter you choose. Tilt and rotate the container to distribute the glitter evenly and cover the inner surface. You can experiment with different colors and sizes of glitter to create unique effects.

Drain excess glitter: Gently tap the container to remove any excess glitter. You can turn it upside down and let it sit on a paper towel or a cup to allow the excess glitter to fall out.

Allow the polyurethane to dry: Set the container aside to dry completely. The polyurethane will become apparent as it dries, leaving the glitter on the inner container surface. Follow the instructions on the polyurethane packaging for specific drying times.

Reattach the caps: Once the ornaments are fully dry, reattach the caps gluing this part pretty well.

Step 4:Custom name

Design your keychain's name in Cricut Design Space or another program. You can use the software's built-in tools to create your designs or upload pre-made designs.

Once you have designed your keychains name, cut them out with your plotter. Be sure to use the correct settings for your materials.

Weed the vinyl design. This means removing the excess vinyl from around the design.

Apply transfer tape to the vinyl design. This will help you to transfer the design to the container...

Carefully transfer the vinyl design to the pencil container. Be sure to line up the procedure correctly.

Step 5: Attach the Keychain 

Attach a chain or keyring to the top of the glittered container. Make sure it is secure and tightly closed to prevent any accidental detachment. You can also add charms or decorative elements to personalize your keychain further.
